IT’S YOUR TURN TO SMILE

REQUEST A COMPLIMENTARY CONSULT FOR BRACES

BRACES

Picture-perfect smiles rarely occur naturally. Misaligned or crooked teeth may cause an overbite, crossbite or underbite and even make it difficult to properly clean the teeth. For those who need teeth straightened, there are several treatment avenues available, including braces and retainers.

Also, braces aren’t just for children. According to the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), adults are opting for braces to correct misaligned teeth more often. People, in general, are showing an increased interest in maintaining healthy teeth from childhood into old age.

Metal Braces

Metal brackets are attached to the teeth with an adhesive then connected by an arch wire that puts pressure on the teeth and moves them to the desired position. This type of braces is usually needed for one to three years, on average. Adjustments are periodically made to ensure teeth are shifting correctly and leading to a healthy, straight smile.

  •  Offers excellent control of your teeth so you can feel assured that your straight smile is forming

  • Prevent injury that can occur due to protruding teeth

  • A more attractive smile that will improve confidence and self-esteem

Clear Braces

These braces are less noticeable than metal braces because the ceramic color blends with the color of the teeth. These braces are stronger, yet generally more comfortable and easier to fit on most patients. The ceramics can fracture, however, and are used mostly on top teeth and those not involved in chewing.

  • Clear braces are much less noticeable than traditional metal braces and blend in with your teeth

  • Some feel more confident with their orthodontic treatment with clear braces rather than metal braces

  • Great for adults or performers
