At Joosse Family Orthodontics, we believe educating children about their teeth and oral health will motivate them to take care of their teeth. By using models of the mouth and hands-on activities, we strive to leave a lasting impression about the proper way to brush and floss, and why it is important. During a dental health visit, Dr. Joosse also talks about why sugary foods and drinks are bad for teeth and he emphasizes the need to avoid them. Learning about dental care in a fun, interactive environment helps children to become comfortable asking questions and visiting the dentist and orthodontist.
Schools, scout troops and other organizations for children can benefit from our dental health education visits. Our board certified orthodontist, Dr. Joosse, and his team make each dental health education visit age-appropriate.
