Here When You Need Us In Williamsburg, VA

A true orthodontic emergency rarely happens but nothing in life is completely foolproof. Many problems that occur with braces can either be resolved at home or can wait until your regularly scheduled visit. However, some problems require immediate attention from our office. Dr. Joosse and the JFO team will review common problems and what to do if you encounter them. You’ll also receive general guidelines, like the importance of keeping your teeth clean and certain foods that you’ll need to avoid.

Accidents Happen

When To Seek Emergency Care

Accidents happen, and knowing what to do when one occurs is important. Seek emergency care if a traumatic accident or sports injury to the face, mouth, teeth or gums occurs. It is also important to seek emergency care if you or your child is experiencing pain, redness or swelling in the gums, mouth or face as result of an infection or has severe, acute dental pain in any form.
