“I was listening to a podcast today where a motivational speaker was being interviewed. He talked about how “jacked up” his teeth were when he was a kid and how orthodontics changed his life. What was profound about his story was not how it changed his life, but the ripple effect that his orthodontic treatment has had over the course of his lifetime. You see, this guy has gone on to be a prolific motivational speaker and is someone who now influences thousands of lives. He speculated that he might never have been comfortable with public speaking if it were not for orthodontics.
I know this too. Orthodontics changed my life in a profound way. It gave me the confidence to smile fully and to help me be myself. My orthodontic treatment made such an impact on me that I decided to pursue a career in dentistry and orthodontics so that I can help others, through beautiful smiles, to unlock their potential, too.
